Introduction

Dramatic play is one of the most important ways children learn. It is a meaningful game, where they come to learn more about the rules. Once the children know them, the game becomes even more fun. They will become so involved in the activity that their imaginations will soar, and ideas will flow. Through this play, pupils will develop their potential, feeling happy, satisfied and confident.

What will they experience?

Expressive use of body and voice is key! This being our youngest group and their first step into theatre, we introduce our magic chest that contains a world of imaginative ideas through costumes and props. Our overflowing percussion basket allows the children to create sounds which accompany their play and singing. Dance also gives children the freedom to enjoy self-expression through movement.

What to bring?

Please wear something comfortable to move in, preferably black in colour. Also, a drink and a little snack for after dance.
