Taster Sessions

Discover the world of theatre during our free taster session. Give your child the chance to engage in three one-hour lessons in Acting, Singing & Dancing alongside like-minded pupils. Whether your child is a natural-born performer or a little on the shy side, they will have an unforgettable experience meeting new friends whilst exploring the arts!

Our Saturday school is based at Preston Playhouse Theatre and is available to students in Reception through to Year 8, with two different session options to choose from. Attend our morning group from 10:00-13:00 or our afternoon group from 14:00-17:00.

We also offer a free taster evening at our teen and college group where young budding actors experience three hours of performing arts, advancing their skills, building confidence, and making new friends.

Preston College’s Performing Arts Studios are home to our Teen and College group, which is open to students from school year 9 through to year 13. Our school runs every Wednesday evening from 18:00 to 21:00.
