DANCING
I began performing at a very early age and have danced for as long as I remember. Dancing was always my passion and an obvious choice for me as I worked my way through school and started to consider what to do next. I ended up studying my professional dance and teachers of dance qualification at Preston College and qualified with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing in 2010. Whilst studying there, I trained in a number of different styles of dance including Ballet, Tap, Modern, Salsa, Jazz and National.
As soon as I left college I began teaching and have a vast and varied experience of teaching a range of dance disciplines at a number of schools across Blackpool and the Fylde Coast over the past decade. Helping students of all ages achieve their dancing goals has always been a passion of mine and something I find extremely rewarding. I also performed as part of a cabaret show in Blackpool for nearly 10 years which allowed me to fulfil my desire to perform on stage in front of live audiences.
More recently, I even got involved with the Davies family business as a personal trainer and Metafit class instructor at our family gym. Fitness and exercise is something that goes hand in hand with my dance teaching knowledge and expertise and shares many similarities. I have juggled all this with being a mummy to two children, Ralph and Reeva.
I enjoy teaching all types of dance and watching children progress and improve. I pride myself on helping them achieve to their goals and improve their skills in a fun, exciting and stimulating atmosphere. For the last twelve years Little players have been a pleasure to teach and I look forward to continuing their journey with them.
