Taster Sessions

Discover the world of theatre during our free taster session. Give your child the chance to engage in three one-hour lessons in Acting, Singing & Dancing alongside like-minded students. Whether your child is a natural-born performer or a little on the shy side, they will have an unforgettable experience meeting new friends while exploring the arts!

Our Saturday schools are now based at Preston Playhouse Theatre and Preston College, offering flexible options for students. You can choose to attend a taster day at either location, with the following time slots available:

We also offer a free taster evening for our teen and college groups, where budding actors experience three hours of performing arts, enhancing their skills, building confidence, and making new friends.

Preston College’s Performing Arts Studios are home to our Teen and College group, which is open to students from Year 9 through to Year 13. Our school runs every Wednesday evening from 18:00 to 21:00.
